Got to skeggy early so we could have some practice, that's where it all went wrong after about 8 laps !

Going down the back straight fast when the prop shaft decides to give way! Damaged caused was prop shaft broken, gearbox rear seal leaking, battery bust at this point with a few expletives we thought the night was over before it started.

Karl Hawking's came along and lent us loads of bits, Rob Speak offered us a battery (sadly that was no good) then he offered us the battery off the pace car but we had already borrowed a battery off Neil Fitton (thank you Neil) by this time Dean Whitwell and Dr Paul Ingamells had worked wonders (with sausage and bacon baps keeping them going from chef Sue).

Heat 1 started and we finished, Heat 2 was a DNF due to driver error climbing over the kerb. Final finished and finished grand national too, got a reasonable haul of points that keeps the team in 10th place. Thank you to Dean, Paul, karl Hawking's, Frankie Wainman, Neil and Sue and Jordan for keeping us in the chase.

tested out a new on board camera! video below (after photos)

Throughout the evening we were told of an infringement to the rules that means the cab is not up to 2020 regulations, with this Dean popped over to Frankie Wainman and it was decided to send the car to Silsden to have the work done, we left with a trailer carrying a massive wing strapped down with 4 ratchet straps and nothing else!!!
This morning up early and off to drop Jordan home to get him ready for a week at work on site. Back home and we load the shale car up ready to take to bruno's for some repairs and tappet checking, back home and unload van ready for work Monday morning and we have no cars or trailer at home, time for a few days off working on race cars and concentrate on proper work but we will be back on Saturday night at kings Lynn to carry on with the chase
